Gifting To Wyonegonic Camps
Campership Fund

We are determined that Wyonegonic will continue to thrive and bring the excitement of camp to thousands of children in the future. We are always grateful for your tangible support and the spirit behind your gift to make camp possible for others. We know the beneficiaries of this effort are ALL CHILDREN.

Tax Deductible Giving to Campership Fund

There are two different options for tax deductible giving. Both options involve the camp scholarship program. The scholarship programs allow Wyonegonic to offer partial tuition to families in need of financial assistance. The intention is to complement the camper population with ethnic, racial, geographic and social (low income) campers who would not otherwise be able to experience a summer camp program.

1. A contribution payable to the American Camping Foundation (ACF) can be designated to the Wyonegonic Campership Endowment in memory of George N. Sudduth. The donation builds principle that is then invested with other like donations. The principle remains intact and all interest and gains in the endowment fund are used annually.
    
2. A contribution payable to the American Camp Association (ACA) can be designated to the Wyonegonic Campership Fund in memory of the Cobbs (the camp’s founding family). All contributions are used in entirety with the exception of a 7% managing fee.

Non Tax Deductible Giving

Donations made directly to Wyonegonic are not tax deductible.  Gifts may be earmarked for general use or for a specific capital improvement. For example, individuals have given for specifics such as canvas canoe restoration, landscaping in front of the new Cobb dining hall, pottery equipment, piano, etc. A gift of this nature should be named to Wyonegonic Camps.

Deferred Giving

Stock transfers and matching gifts are acceptable methods of contributing to any of the above. Please contact us for necessary details.
